You do not need any prior experience to begin training at Freelance University as our courses provide you with the necessary foundation and skills to start freelancing.
Is there a pathway to take when starting the training?
Yes, we provide a clear pathway to get started, an outline of freelance career options and niches, and their corresponding specialized tracks of training or learning pathways.
How long does it take to complete a training program?
Our Certification training programs have approximately 4-6 hours of video training, but the time it takes you to work through the material varies depending on how comfortable you are with the material. Other courses have approximately 2-4 hours of video training. We also offer other events that run between 60 min–2 hours in length.
YES, all events that we run LIVE, are recorded and added to the University to access at any time. Everything we do in the University is to support a flexible lifestyle including our learning.
What technology do I need for Freelance University?
Very simple…an Internet connection is all that is required to begin your training at Freelance University. There are different apps that may be necessary to download during the training, but we always direct students to the free downloads. We love FREE!
Are the training programs self-directed?
Yes, our training is self-directed and on-demand, so you can begin at any time and work at your own pace. We do offer LIVE events, but all are recorded and added to the University for you to access on your own time.
Do you sell individual courses or a-la-carté?
Freelance University is a one-stop learning community for ALL your training needs. When you enroll in the University you get access to everything including training and community. We do not sell individual courses.
Absolutely! We truly believe age is just a number, so don’t get hung up on it. We do focus on “second careers” or “your next act”, so if you find yourself in transition or considering your next career, you’ll feel right at home!
Freelance University is a training center. We provide skill-based training to help you freelance and keep your skills current and up-to-date. In addition, we do provide extensive resources on finding and attracting your ideal clients, but we do not provide direct job/client placement. We are not a job referral agency. We will provide you with the tools and skills necessary to secure clients on your own.
